Spring Forward with Locally Grown

Thank you for supporting the brands that support Plantie!
In just 10 short days we will be turning our clocks forward and losing an hour of sleep as Spring officially arrives. I don't know about you, but all of this teasing that Mother Nature has done recently with the weather has me very much ready for warmer temperatures!
As Spring gets closer I'm starting to think about my garden and what I will be planting for the season. I absolutely love growing my own food. There is something so magical about watching a tiny seed grow into a beautiful food-bearing plant, nature is so freaking cool.
My garden is pretty small right now, so when it comes to growing food, no one is more of an expert than our local farmers. I've decided to be much more conscious about where I am getting my food lately and am really passionate about supporting local organic farmers.
To show my support I signed up for my very first CSA this week from a local farm here in Pottstown, called Jack's Farm. My first Winter Share was ready for pickup today, and I must say, it is one gorgeous haul! We came home with a bounty of certified organic micro greens, potatoes, rainbow chard, baby kale, garlic, beets, fresh dill and parsley.
It's a little hard to pay attention to the locally grown veggies though with this gorgeous watch on my wrist stealing the spotlight ;) Where did I get this beauty? Well I've partnered up with an amazing company, called Jord Wood Watches, who make some of the most stunning hand-crafted wooden timepieces that I have ever seen.
What I love most about this brand is their focus on sustainably sourced materials. You know I have a big penchant for the environment, so my inner hippie was absolutely overwhelmed with joy when they sent me this gorgeous Zebrawood watch to share with you all. But the fun doesn't stop there, they also offered to host an EXCLUSIVE giveaway for all of my readers!
By entering will you automatically receive a $25 gift code, so either way you are a winner! Plus Springing Forward is way more fun when you have a beautiful new watch to wear :)
